Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By adding Crow Shay to a Discord server, using its commands, or logging into the web dashboard, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Crow Shay, in accordance with Discord's own Terms of Service.

2. Acceptable Use

Crow Shay is a craft tracking tool built for crochet and fiber arts communities. You agree to use it only for its intended purposes and in a manner consistent with Discord's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, or disrupt the bot or its underlying services
• Use the bot to harass, harm, or collect information about other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any data that isn't your own
• Use automated tools to make excessive requests to the bot or dashboard API
• Misrepresent your identity when using the Discord OAuth2 login on the dashboard

3. Your Data

All crafting data you enter through Crow Shay — WIPs, yarn stash entries, patterns, counter sessions, and profile information — is yours. You provide it voluntarily, and it is stored solely to provide the bot's features to you.

The web dashboard accesses this data in read-only mode after you authenticate via Discord OAuth2. We do not sell, share, or monetize your data in any way. For full details on what data is collected and how it is used, please review our Privacy Policy.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the address listed in the Contact section below.

4. Availability & Service Changes

Crow Shay is provided as-is, free of charge, as an independent project. We make no guarantees about uptime, availability, or uninterrupted service. The bot may occasionally be offline for maintenance, updates, or due to issues outside our control (including Discord outages or hosting provider issues).

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Crow Shay — or any part of it — at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes through the Discord server.

5. Intellectual Property

The Crow Shay name, logo, website design, and bot code are the intellectual property of The Queen of Indie (@thequeenofindie). You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from Crow Shay's branding or code without explicit written permission.

Content you enter into the bot — such as your WIP names, notes, and stash entries — remains your own. We claim no ownership over the crafting data you submit.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Crow Shay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Queen of Indie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — Crow Shay or the dashboard.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of Crow Shay after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Significant changes will be announced in the Discord server when possible.
